Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Poker (a Texas Hold’em app that runs inside ChatGPT via the OpenAI App SDK).

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Poker, you agree to these Terms and to OpenAI’s policies that govern the ChatGPT platform. Poker is free to use and does not require you to create an account with us or provide payment details. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility & Appropriate Use

  • You must be 13+ (or 16+ where required by law) and have a valid OpenAI account.
  • Poker is for entertainment and skill-building only; no real-money wagering or prizes, and no subscription or fees.
  • No cheating, collusion, harassment, scraping, reverse engineering, or automated play outside what the app provides.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and OpenAI usage policies; we may suspend or remove access for violations.

Gameplay & Content

  • Hands, tips, and summaries are generated by AI and may be incorrect or incomplete; use your own judgment.
  • We log only the minimal hand history and actions needed for post-hand reviews, fairness checks, and debugging, and keep them for up to 30 days (see Privacy Policy).
  • We can adjust, pause, or terminate games or features to maintain fairness and reliability.

Disclaimers & Liability

  • Poker is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the prior 3 months; since Poker is free, this amount will usually be $0. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for misuse, legal requirements, platform policy changes, or technical/security reasons. You may stop using Poker at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to stay aligned with OpenAI App SDK requirements and applicable laws. Material changes will be dated above and, where feasible, communicated in the app.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable local law unless mandatory laws of your residence require otherwise.
